Haul
I realised blogging has been a bit slow for me this month despite finishing exams so early. As soon as i was done with exams, i've been working almost everyday and i've been cleaning out my wardrobe as well, which has been a massive process. I have many posts back drafted, just missing swatches so i need to get around to taking them on a day with good lighting, i promise!
Meanwhile, i thought i would share with you some stuff i picked up lately c:
Suzuki Night Market (snaps)
Tuesday, November 20, 2012
The Suzuki Night Market has been a summer tradition in Melbourne for over a decade, this year marks the 15th year. I went on opening night on the 14th November with a couple of my girlfriends and surprisingly this was the first time i've ever been!
The market is famous for hawker foods on offer from all over the world and market stalls selling a variety of clothing, jewelry, accessories, house decor items and other novelty goods.
The market starts at 5pm and finishes at 10pm but we didn't get in until 8pm (we had work). We hadn't eaten so we wasted no time and went for the food first. There was so much choice and we barely got around to everything so we've already planned to return!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts these couple of weeks, i've been pretty busy working and catching up with friends since exams finished for me. On tuesday, i went to the Coldplay concert and just wow, what a night. This is definitely the biggest concert i've ever been to with a crowd of supposedly over 60,000!
Gotham City Sirens

A couple of my girlfriends and i went to a halloween event and we decided to go as the Gotham CIty Sirens! They're the minxy baddies from the batman series: Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn (the joker's gf!)

Nail Polish Stash: Part 7 - Special Effects (Swatch)
Sunday, October 28, 2012
Essie Penny Talk: an authentic copper metallic (full review here)
Etude House Gold Spangle (over China Glaze Liquid Leather): a clear base with large gold hex glitters
Zoya Jules: sparkling light champagne taupe
Missha Crystal HKH01: bronze gold with holographic red, green and blue glitters
China Glaze Treasure Chest (over OPI You Don't Know Jacques): a clear base with small gold hexagon glitters
CND Jade Sparkle (over CND Asphalt): intense golden green shimmer
Essie Shine of the Times (over Essie Bobbing for Baubles): a multi chromatic flaky nail polish, shines red, yellow and green
Color Club Wish Upon a Rockstar (over Essie Mint Candy Apple): a clear base with multi color glitters and large purple hex glitters
Revlon Whimsical (over Essie Absolutely Shore): a milky and sheer sky blue jelly with large pink + light blue hex glitters and micro blue glitters - famous for being a dupe for glitter in the air
I think this was the most exciting post c: My favorites here are my Etude House Spangles, Color Club glitters, Revlon Whimsical, Tony Moly Shooting Star and Essie Armed & Ready. The Nicole by OPI Love Your Life would have made the list too if the hearts were easier to fish out!!
I love special effects nail polishes as you can probably tell. They really add a little something to your average manicures. I'm normally too lazy to do nail art unless its the holidays and i have plenty of time to kill, so i'll always go for one of these to add dimension!
That concludes my nail polish stash! Some of these swatches didn't really do justice to the real nail polish so i'll probably do proper swatches on my nails some time in the future. This was just an overview to my collection c: I hope you enjoyed this series!

Tony Moly GS09 - Shooting Star (over Essie Lilacism): a sheer lavender jelly with multi color large and small hex glitters
NARS Night Rider: 'soft plum with silver glitter', pretty accurate, it leans towards pink a little.
OPI Pirouette My Whistle: a clear base with dense micro silver glitters and large white-silver hex glitters over Essie Armed & Ready - a deep olive green toned concrete grey with intense golden/bronze shimmer
Etude House Silver Spangle (over Orly You're Blushing): a clear base with large silver hex glitters
Color Club Diamond Drops (over OPI Dating a Royal): a clear base with silver shards of holographic glitters, reminds me of shattered glass.
Etude House Gold, Blue, Silver and Pink Spangles (over A-England Tristam): a clear base with large gold, blue, silver and pink hex glitters, i wanted to show you guys what it looks when when used together
Nicole by OPI Love Your Life (over Essie Lilacism): a clear base with iridescent pink micro glitters and large pearly pink hearts
Etude House Pink Spangle (over Essie Cocktail Bling): a clear base with large pink hex glitters

Corns And Calluses
Friday, October 5, 2012
Hi everyone! I have a really exciting post for you all today! My dear friend Kellen recently started up her own Etsy shop under the name of Corns and Calluses. Here she sells her handmade wallets!
I ended up buying 4 wallets from her store - one for me and 3 for gifts. (Hence why i can't show you the designs! I'm sending them off overseas to some friends and family and they read my blog sometimes so i might include the designs i bought in a 'snaps' post later this month c: ) I've actually wanted one of these for the longest time ever since i saw the one she made herself but i wasn't the only one and she didn't have the time because she had so many requests!
birthday spoils
Sunday, September 30, 2012
My birthday was exactly 2 months ago and i was still receiving birthday goodies last week!!
It's funny because last year i didn't really get anything for my birthday. I mean, i never expect presents but this year i was so spoilt, i feel guilty!

My Illamasqua Products (Swatch + Review)
Wednesday, September 26, 2012
I'm sure most of us who signed the petition to end unjust pricing for make up in Australia were over the moon to receive this in our emails a couple of weeks ago:
I have to say, i am so impressed with Illamasqua's efforts to reduce their prices in Australia.

Luna Bowtique
Thursday, September 20, 2012
This is the second time i've ordered from Luna Bowtique. The first time was only back in May but when she released her Totoro bows, i couldn't resist and placed another order. I bought the Totoro bow in yellow, a Squishy Pink Bow as well as the Summer Treats Bow.
As always, it was adorably packaged with heaps of cute letter papers, it's such a joy to unwrap!

Tuesday, September 18, 2012
Look what came in my cousin's care package from the States!! The Bobbi Brown Desert Twilight Eye Palette from their Fall 2012 collection!! This is definitely the most beautiful palette i own and i'm so in love with it. I've been using it everyday since receiving it 2 weeks ago.

I've Got Mail: Nail Polish Haul from Transdesign (Review)
Wednesday, September 12, 2012
I did a massive nail polish order with some of my ladies at the beginning of last month and I'm only just getting around to posting on my haul! I order my nail polishes from Transdesign and this is my 4th time ordering from them. They carry a range of nail polish brands (OPI, Essie, Orly, China Glaze, CND, Color Club, Misa and more) and also nail treatments.
I'm going to try and explain the most important things when ordering off this website and hopefully it helps if you wish to order from them because honestly, they offer the biggest range at the cheapest prices i've come across online (OPI $6.80, Essie $5.95, China Glaze $2.99, Orly $5, Seche Vite $4.50).
This time i placed an order for 42 bottles in a Medium Flat Rate Box. In the past i've done 2 Small Flat Rate Box orders and 1 Medium one, this is my second Medium order.

Essie: Penny Talk (Swatch + Review)
Sunday, September 9, 2012
Hey ladies!
It's been a while! Today i have for you a swatch and review of Essie Penny Talk. Some of you may remember that this was on my wishlist a month or so ago. When i finally got around to placing a massive nail polish order with my friends, most of the Mirror Metallics collection was actually sold out on the site and i was so guttered! But i received a spoil package from my cousin in the States for my birthday and what do you know, Penny Talk was in it c:

Recent Hauls
Friday, August 31, 2012
So for the last post of August, i thought i'd show you a bit of what's installed for September c:
As we are approaching mid-sem at Uni, there are a lot of assessments rolling in so i haven't had the time to do proper swatches during the day or sit down to write reviews. The bulk of my assessments will happen in the first week of September and then i shall be free...until the last couple of weeks of the semester. For those of you who follow me on instagram @chloe_e, you might have seen some of these already c:
Tonymoly Petite Bunny Gloss Bars: #3 Juicy Apple + #4 Juicy Cherry (Swatch + Review)
Friday, August 24, 2012
yes...i got sucked into the cute packaging that is Tonymoly’s Petite Bunny Gloss Bars :3
Tony Moly is a korean cosmetics brand known to be easy on the wallet and the eyes! Their packaging are always so adorable but i’ve never tried any of their products until now. As you all probably know by now, i love bunnies so I simply couldn’t resist.

MAC Reel Sexy Cremesheen Glass: Private Screening + MAC Heavenly Creatures Cremesheen Glasses: Strictly Plutonic + Galaxy Rose (Swatch + Review)
Saturday, August 11, 2012
One of my very first MAC products ever was a MAC Lipglass that my aunty bought me for my 14th birthday. I really disliked it because it felt too sticky and the color was wrong for me in every way. After this, i was turned off all lip glosses from MAC for good...until the launch of the Heavenly Creatures collection.
Illamasqua Naked Strangers Collection: Intimacy Sheer Lipgloss + Naked Rose Powder Blusher (Swatch + Review)
Wednesday, August 8, 2012
I got these as part of my birthday present from my mum c:
So far from illasmasqua, i've tried their powder blushers, cream blushers and their skin base foundation, all of which i love so i was really excited to get a lip gloss! Both pieces are from the Naked Strangers Collection.

MAC Casual Colour Lip & Cheek Colour: Out for Fun +Keep it Casual (Swatch + Review)
Friday, July 27, 2012
These are a limited edition cream-based product that can be used on the cheeks and/or lips. When these were first released, i knew exactly which shades i wanted and when i visited the MAC counter and swatched these in person, it just re-affirmed my decision. I bought the shades Out for Fun and Keep it Casual, one for spring/summer and one for autumn/winter.

MUFE Aqua Liners: #7 Diamond Black Purple + #15 Iridescent Anthracite (Swatch + Review)
Monday, July 16, 2012
MUFE has been on my radar for a while. Initially, i was really only interested in their foundations (the much hyped HD foundation as well as their face and body foundation) but i just couldn’t take the plunge because i knew i wanted to try the Chanel Vitalumière Aqua first. That didn’t stop me from approaching their counter, and everytime, i played with the same thing - their aqua liners. Clearly, i gave in - I ended up picking up #7 and #15.

Sasatinnie Mini SPN140 + SPN123 Nail Polish (Swatch + Review)
Sunday, June 24, 2012
Those who know me in real life will know that i am a bit of a nail polish snob and that i rarely buy cheap nail polish. I don’t mean price-cheap because i’m always on the hunt for good bargains on established brands but i mean quality-cheap. I just hate when you can feel and/or see how tacky and cheap a nail polish is.

Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream Review
Thursday, June 21, 2012
I never used to cared much for my cuticles. However in the last year or so; when i started swatching nail polishes on instagram, i began to notice how cracked my cuticles were and that bothered me.
I picked this up the other day at Manning and i am kicking myself that i didn't buy this earlier!
