MAC Eyeshadows: Naked Lunch + Satin Taupe (Swatch + Review)

I've finally had time to take photos of all my swatches today, prepare for lots of reviews coming up!
These have been on my list for what feels like the longest time and i finally picked them up this time in HK.

Naked Lunch is a ‘minimal pink with shimmer’ with a frost finish. This champagne color is the perfect neutral all over lid color, gorgeous on its own or blended with darker colors in the crease. I’m normally not the biggest fan of sheen but this actually didn’t bother me at all because the frost finish was very subtle. I’ve been wearing this a lot on its own and it really brightens my eyes on the tired days.

I also bought the much praised Satin Taupe and i can certainly see why people love it so much. The “taupe with silver shimmer” is so much more than its description - there are also purple, mauve and brown undertones and it’s just so beautiful. Again, the sheen is not too loud and it’s just such a lovely twist to a neutral color. The pigmentation is great and it works as both a lid or a crease color.

Both shadows have a velvety texture, glides on easily and blends incredibly well.
