Hi everyone! I have a really exciting post for you all today! My dear friend Kellen recently started up her own Etsy shop under the name of Corns and Calluses. Here she sells her handmade wallets!
I ended up buying 4 wallets from her store - one for me and 3 for gifts. (Hence why i can't show you the designs! I'm sending them off overseas to some friends and family and they read my blog sometimes so i might include the designs i bought in a 'snaps' post later this month c: ) I've actually wanted one of these for the longest time ever since i saw the one she made herself but i wasn't the only one and she didn't have the time because she had so many requests!
So for myself, i picked the Scallop Edge Striped design. The interior is an ice cream design
When i first received it, it was still a little stiff because it was new. However, it was really secure and nothing fell out. I managed to fit all this in - all my most-used cards (bank card, credit card, student card, public transport card, drivers license, etc), as well as a mirror, some notes and some coins.
Since then (it's been about 2 weeks now), it's loosened up and i've managed to fit even more cards in! It's actually really impressive how many coins fit inside this tiny thing.
This is actually so handy because when i'm in a rush or simply running errands, this is all i take along with my iPhone (they're about the same size) and it holds pretty much everything i need. This is how it looks with everything inside:
My usual wallet is a long Tory Burch wallet and while i love it to death, i'm always worried about dirtying it or ruining it and sometimes it's just too big. This mini wallet is only a few dollars and it's semi waterproof. I spilt some iced chocolate all over it last week and I simply wiped it off and it was as good as new. I still use my Tory Burch wallet obviously because i have a lot of cards and vouchers and what not but for my essentials, it is all in this cute little pocket.
Anyway, i hope this was informative and a nice break from all the beauty posts! For more information about these wallets, Kellen wrote a post on her own blog, she also made a post about her packaging (she ran out of paper for my order and i was in a rush to send these off so she was very innovative and did her usual packaging but with newspapers LOL).
She just restocked her store and my oh my there are so many new designs! I'm loving these ones:
Please check out her store here! She's also on instagram @kerroin
